Do I need to create a new account to sign-in to Huply?

No. If you already have a BackThen account, use the same email and password details to sign-in to Huply. We highly recommend you do this to access all of the benefits of Huply for your pets, included as part of your free BackThen account or paid subscription.

Just choose the Existing Account? Sign in option at the bottom of the Huply start screen, and enter the same email and password you use for BackThen. This way you just need one account for both apps.
